Candlelight Sahil Regional Office started the distribution of COVID-19 hygiene and sanitation materials with support from KNH through FGM/C & Livelihood project in Sheikh District. 360 household (an estimated 2160 individuals) from Sheikh town, Ximan, Dawdama, Cagaaray, Isku dar and Hudiso are benefited from this activity.
The distributed of hygiene material including bathing soap, laundry soap, detergent powder (Tide), plastic kettles and buckets (20L).
At the same occasion, Candlelight Sahil team handed-over six hand-washing stations to Sheikh District Covid-19 Response Committee whereby the committee decided to distribute in public schools.
