Candlelight project team monitored 100 farmers trained on best farming practices and received farming inputs of tillage hours, hand tools and seeds in Boodhley, Beerato and Gogayso to assess the production status of the supported farmers. The monitoring finding shown that supported farmers in Boodhley and Beerato village have practiced the best farming practices they have learned and the farms in these villages have received sufficient rains which helped them produce satisfactorily with good yielding. However, the farmers in Gogayso village have applied the best farming practices they have learned but the village did not get suffient rains and this hindered the yielding of the farms. The supported farmer in Gogayso were 70 farmers including 10 irrigated farms and 60 rain-fed farmers, So the cultivation of the 60 rain-fed farmers in Gogayso almost failed due to insufficient rains. They produced good yielding but the lower than before due to failed rains.
