Community Education Committees (CEC) training in Elbuh primary school in Sanag region which participated by 28 CEC members of four primary schools El-buh , Yube , Shibriraale and Dawaco, some of the training objectives were:
• To enable CEC’s to promote community participation to and ownership of the schools
• To understand their roles and responsibilities in order to effectively manage their community schools
• Understand their structures durries and responsibilities as committee
• To improve the CEC’s skills in problem solving and conflict resolution
• To strengthen the decision-making skills of CEC members.
• To understand the importance of guidance and counseling in the school community planning
• To clarify the role of CEC in school managements
• To understand and differentiate child rights and child protection and concerned children’s issue
• Indentify and explain the key policy related socio -cultural and economic gender , issues and concerned that contribute to observe gender disparities in education
• Effectively support the Head teachers and teachers in the management of their school,
• Understand and develop school development plans through each particular village school
• Effectively mobilize community to participate and support school management, sustainability and durability.
