In 2012, as in the preceding years, Candlelight continued to extend crucial services to thousands of community members living in the different corners of Somaliland. Those activities have not only had a great impact on the beneficiaries but at the same time contributed to the accumulated experience and institutional capacity of the organization.
What made those achievements possible are the dedication of our staff, the trust and the support of our funding partners, the cooperation between us and the communities that we work with and the constant guidance of our board of directors.
This report portrays an overview of the diverse activities carried out by Candlelight in its thematic areas. We are also very proud to say that our work has been characterized by professionalism and commitment to the delivery of quality services.
As we continue to pursue our vision and mission, I would like to thank the partner organizations for their support, the staff for their commitment and hard work. The Government of Somaliland for its cooperation and the beneficiary community for their receptiveness.
